Tech Review: 2020 Nissan Altima

The Nissan Altima is a mid-sized car that made its debut back in the year 1992. Robust performance, coupled with a sophisticated exterior look and sleek interior design, got the Nissan Altima raving reviews after its launch. Over the years, it went through numerous upgrades to become the brand new 2020 Nissan Altima. Currently, in its sixth generation, the new Altima is a modern take on the sedan.

Nissan technology is world-renowned and has been incorporated into every aspect of the 2020 Nissan Altima, be its engine performance, safety elements, or the infotainment system. This five-seater comes with basic cloth upholstery that offers ample legroom for maximum comfort.

Premium leather seats, heated and ventilated seats along with a heated steering wheel are some of the many upgrades available in the newest Altima. Plenty of storage is offered by a 15.4 cubic feet boot, which is quite bigger than the trunks in most other mid-sized sedans.

The 2020 Nissan Altima comes equipped with a 2.5-liter engine containing four cylinders. This standard engine provides a horsepower of 188 hp and a torque of 180 lb-ft. Other trims like the SR and the Platinum host a 2-liter engine that again consists of four cylinders but is turbocharged. Both provide a horsepower of 248 hp along with 273 lb-ft of torque.

Safety Tech

State-of-the-art technology has been utilized in constructing the safety features of the 2020 Nissan Altima. A rear-view camera gives you a holistic picture of the area around your car to ensure you steer clear of other vehicles and objects.

Quality sensors detect imminent forward crashes and automatically apply the emergency brakes. Top-of-the-line driver assisting features like cruise control and lane-assist ensure you enjoy a safe drive no matter what.

NissanConnect Infotainment includes fantastic elements like an 8-inch touch screen that hosts Android Auto and Apple CarPlay so that you stay connected to all the apps on your phone while driving. A six-speaker-equipped sound system, along with Bluetooth and satellite radio, guarantees seamless entertainment.
